• For a third time, the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) has granted AdventHealth for Children Magnet® recognition, which establishes the hospital as a national leader in nursing and patient care. Only seven-percent of the nation’s hospitals have received this recognition.

• Comprehensive Heart Center with a multidisciplinary team including congenital heart disease experts and elite pediatric cardiovascular surgeons.

• Level IV Comprehensive Pediatric Epilepsy Center featuring the highest designation awarded by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Creates plan for care across the continuum, integrating patient/family preferences and values. Monitors patient care through assessments, evaluations and/or patient records. Advocates for resources and removal of barriers. Maintains ongoing dialog with supervisor and other health providers to ensure effective implementation of health plan. Acts as a resource for adequate medical record documentation, appropriateness of services as they relate to diagnoses, and treatment options for post-discharge care."

Education:

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]

• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Preferred qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

• Health-related master’s degree or MSN

• Prior Care Management/ Utilization Management experience

• Professional Certification

• Prior NICU Experience

Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Preferred]
