NORTON CHILDREN’S NEONATOLOGY, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine, and a part of Norton Children’s Medical Group, is seeking a neonatal nurse practitioner to join a team of clinicians that includes 31 neonatologists, 35 neonatal nurse practitioners, and multiple pediatric nurse practitioners, pediatric hospitalists, therapists and other providers skilled at caring for newborns and babies with special conditions.
The neonatology program receives referrals from throughout Kentucky and Indiana at two neonatal intensive care units (NICUs), including one of the nation’s largest Level IV NICUs at Norton Children’s Hospital in downtown Louisville. Both NICUs combine elements of private practice with an academic model to foster collaborative relationships among neonatologists, providers, fellows, residents and trainees. Through various partnerships, outreach services also are provided at several Level II and Level III NICUs throughout the region.

Level III and IV NICU experience preferred, but not required
