IU Health Medical Group in the South Region is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant to join our experienced Hematology Oncology team. This position is located in Bedford Indiana.
Position Details:
Full-time- 40 hours total per week- 36 patient facing hours- 4 hours admin time
Monday - Friday
No Call Schedule
100% Outpatient
Team: 7 physicians (2 at this location) 3 Advanced Practice Providers.
Job Responsibilities:
Outpatient care of adults with benign hematological diagnosis or with cancer
Candidate must have Clinical and communicative skills, and the ability to work as a team
Patient Population:
New and established adult patients with benign hematology diagnosis, established adult oncology patients
Qualifications:
AGNP, FNP, or PA REQUIRED
1 year of APP experience in any field, if no APP experience- at least have 1 year of experience as an Oncology/Hematology RN
Ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience as an APP caring for Oncology and benign Hematology patients
