The Allegheny Health Network (AHN) Surgical Institute is recruiting a full-time Transplant and Hepatobiliary surgeon to join our team serving the Greater Pittsburgh area. Provide expertise for liver, kidney and pancreas transplant, as well as hepatobiliary surgery. Join one of the few centers in the state offering liver donor liver transplant. See a variety of complex cases at our quaternary care facility, Allegheny General Hospital. Enjoy of a collegial relationship amongst the transplant team of physicians, APP’s and its staff. Receive academic appointment with Drexel University if interested.
Job Qualifications
- Liver and kidney transplant experience, encompassing both deceased and living donor transplants
- Experience in multi-organ donor recovery for both DBD and DCD
- Robotic skills in both hepatobiliary surgery and kidney transplantation highly preferred
- MD or DO Degree
- Completion of an accredited general surgery residency and ASTS fellowship program
- Board Eligible or Board Certified
- Pennsylvania Licensure in good standing prior to hire
