Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY:The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is member is a member of the intensive care team and has as his/her primary responsibility the management of a caseload of critically ill complex (multi-organ) patients ins a critical care setting.  The NP is in direct collaboration with his/her supervising physician or designated back-up physician.  He/she has specialized skills and knowledge related to the unique Intensive Care setting in which he/she practices and performs physical exams, collects and documents data, conducts approved diagnosis and therapeutic procedures, orders and schedules laboratory studies and professional consulta
