Health Plus is the health promotion department for VUMC faculty & staff that provides programs as a benefit to help live a healthy lifestyle. This position assists in planning, coordinating and executing programs, i.e., Population Engagement Programs, New Staff Orientations, Health Fairs, Employee Celebrations with some guidance.
Experience of measuring blood pressure and knowledge of risks associated with high blood pressure is preferred.
Staff Health Plus On-site Biometric Screening events. This will include weekly New Staff Orientation events, Health Fairs, travel to Regional Hospitals and off-site clinics, as well as events for night shift staff.
On-site Biometrics (Know Your Numbers) includes screening blood pressure, weight, height, and BMI (body mass index).
Assists with the administrative support, marketing/scheduling and execution of Health Plus programs and events, including Step Challenges, Farmers' Market, Mindful Stretch Breaks, Wellness Commodores, etc.
Collaborate on Go for the Gold program component development/marketing as needed
Biometric upload administration
PCP identification and communication for those indicating no PCP
GFTG presentation scheduling
GFTG enrollment lab staffing

Programs and services are offered in a wide array of formats and locations to meet the needs of VUMC's diverse population.
Work as needed. 20 hours per week.
Monday is required: 8:00am-2:00pm
Tuesday - Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm
Might need to work evenings 1-2x per month: 6:00pm-10:00pm
