JOB SUMMARY: 

Working as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Penn State Health, you are the heart and backbone of patient care. ABOUT PENN STATE HEALTH MEDICAL GROUP SURGERY SUITE,400 

Location: 200 University Drive, Entrance 2, Suite 400

Hours of Operation: 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Fridays. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.; 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.; 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.; 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.; 12:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. (Mon - Thurs evening only) - schedules rotate every eight weeks. Staff can switch shifts with other staff as often as they desire (communicate with supervisor to make change). Currently one all staff meeting monthly and one MOA/Scheduler meeting bi-monthly.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

High School diploma required. 

Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current license to practice in the state - of PA or eligible for licensure in PA required. 

BLS required. 

One (1) year experience in an acute or ambulatory care setting preferred. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

Able to stand & sit constantly; walk frequently. 

Able to lift/carry 0-10 lbs. frequently; 11-50 lbs. occasionally. 

Able to push/pull 0-20 lbs. frequently; 21-75 lbs. occasionally. 

Able to climb occasionally; reach constantly. 

Able to use hands for simple/firm grasping.
