RN NICU

Fairview Health Services is searching for enthusiastic RNs looking for a rewarding career in our NICU unit located at our Burnsville, Minnesota campus.

Fairview Ridges NICU staff provide patient and family centered care in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for high risk newborns/infants and premature infants. This is a night position, 8 hour shifts with every other weekend. Benefit eligible.

About this Position:

• The RNs attend high risk deliveries. Caring for Babies born at28 weeks, up to 23 beds.
• The culture is one of teamwork & collaboration between ALL members of the team.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s). The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act. The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate.

Required Qualifications:

• Active MN RN License.
• Current licensure in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare provider certification.
• NRP certification or obtained as soon as possible after hire.
• Two to five year of acute care RN NICU experience in a Level III nursery.
• Communicate with and educate patients and families who come from a diverse background.
